Discover .local network services such as AirPlay, Chromecast, HomeKit/Matter, printers, scanners, SMB shares, SSH, and web services.

Input

  • No input required.

Output

  • Services grouped by common Bonjour type.
  • Instance name, Bonjour domain, and network interface (when available).
  • Best-effort IP address when service resolution succeeds.
  • Scan summary (types scanned, discovered service count).
  • Any browsing errors, with a local network permission hint when relevant.

Service families scanned

  • Media and smart home: AirPlay, AirPlay Audio, Chromecast, HomeKit, Matter.
  • Printers and scanners: IPP/IPPS, legacy printer, scanner, AirScan.
  • File and remote access: SMB, Workstation, AFP, NFS, FTP, SSH, SFTP, VNC.
  • Web and platform services: HTTP, HTTPS, Sleep Proxy, Device Info.

Tips

  • Ensure devices are on the same network segment/VLAN.
  • If you see no results, verify Local Network permission for NetDebug Toolkit in Settings.
  • Some devices hide services unless discovery is explicitly enabled.
